Description

Job offer for surveying engineers with laser scanning experience

Starting in fall 2020, we are looking for a 3D surveying engineer / geoinformatician (m/f/d) for our 3D projects in architecture, monument preservation, archaeology and industry in a managerial position.

ArcTron 3D Surveying Technology & Software Development GmbH, headquartered in Altenthann near Regensburg, Germany, is a company with 17 years of experience in the field of 3D process chains, mainly in German-speaking countries but also globally active and specialized.

For the 3D object documentation (“from a coin to landscape”) different, and often combined, 3D scanning technologies (predominantly laser scanning & photogrammetry) are used. The subsequent data evaluation is carried out with industrial software solutions and our own software developments (CAD, 3D platforms). Our company currently works with an interdisciplinary team of almost 20 employees. The numerous services we offer include terrestrial and/or airborne 3D documentation (UL aircraft, UAV drones), photorealistic 3D modelling, multimedia visualisation and animation, the transfer of 3D data into simulated and real-time environments, 3D software development (CAD, photogrammetry, 3D information systems) as well as the development of APPs and Virtual & Augmented Reality solutions.

A further sub-task is museum 3D projects (3D projections, 3D exhibits, exhibition objects) and model making or replica creation with various 3D printers. For historical reasons, the focus of our work is on cultural heritage (archaeology, preservation of buildings and art monuments, restoration, museums), although projects for the industrial sector have also been increasingly implemented for some years now.

You will be responsible for the organisation, implementation, documentation and the content-related and economic controlling of 3D projects and process chains throughout our entire range of work.

Comprehensive leadership qualities and the ability to work in a team in direct cooperation with the management are desired. Ideally, we are looking for applicants with many years of professional experience and a basic entrepreneurial attitude.
