Honeywell Sensing Solutions (HSS), as part of Honeywell IA, offers one of the broadest switching and sensing portfolios available in the industry. With products ranging from snap action, limit, and toggle switches to pressure, position, speed, force and airflow sensors, we have the solution to meet basic and complex design challenges. We provide global engineering and service support, value-added capabilities and custom-engineered solutions that offer enhanced precision and ruggedness.
We are now looking for a committed “Account Development Manager (m/f/d) Sensing Solutions” to essentially contribute to the growth of Honeywell´s HSS business within the defined target markets and high-growth accounts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, selling strategically aligned product solutions and new product families.
You will be responsible for identifying growth potential and new business opportunities with target OEM accounts in your sales territory and focus on the development and successful closure of new business opportunities according to our HSS strategy, to achieve long lasting, sustainable and profitable growth.
It´s about developing and continuously expanding the relationship with our OEM customers to position us as a leading supplier for sensing and switching products. You are able to understand the customer requirements and to turn those into competitive product offerings.
This role builds an effective interface between customer needs, the respective Product Management team and Sales Management.

  • Degree in electronics, industrial engineering, mechanics or a comparable qualification with multi-year experience in technical sales
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, application engineering, product management and/or product development with direct OEM customer contact
  • Proven track record at acquiring new OEM customers, opportunities and contacts at management level
  • Substantial level of experience within the sensors and switches markets as well as specific know-how in one or more of the following areas: Speed and Position Sensing, Pressure Sensing, Environmental Sensing and Switching Technology
  • Technical knowledge and application know-how within Industrial Automation, Aerospace, Defense, Healthcare and/or Transportation and the associated sensor technologies is highly appreciated
  • Experience in working with CRM-Tools, i.e. Salesforce.com
  • Strong growth orientation with the ability to generate and drive related initiatives
  • Excellent communication, presentation and consulting skills
  • Skilled at ensuring success in large matrix organizations, with a passion for teamwork and collaboration in an international environment
  • High self-motivation, result orientation and a customer centric and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Willingness to travel, the role requires a min. 50% customer facing time
  • Fluent in German and English language, both written and spoken
