At Nuventura, we are looking for an Accounts & Finance Associate (f/m/x) to join our growing finance team

. In this hands-on role, you’ll be a key player in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our accounting processes. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with various teams across the company, both internal and external, to help us meet our financial goals and ensure compliance with regulations.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed accounting work, is eager to explain and improve processes, and values being part of a dynamic, supportive team.

You’ll help shape the foundation of our finance function, while also bringing your own ideas to improve workflows. While you’ll focus primarily on accounting tasks, you’ll also have the opportunity to support and guide others in the process, especially during onboarding and training new team members

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Take full ownership of managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and consistency in every transaction.
  • Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Oversee payments, cash flow management, and general bookkeeping to help maintain the financial health and stability of the company.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to foster collaboration and ensure smooth financial processes. Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including external accounting partners.
  • Tax & Compliance Support: Collaborate on tax-related issues and financial accounting to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Bring your ideas to the table to help improve processes, tools, and reporting, and contribute to the development of best practices within the finance team.
  • Financial Data Management: Maintain organized financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies, while offering ongoing support to stakeholders

  • Experience: 3+ years in financial closing and bookkeeping, with a solid understanding of HGB.
  • Software Skills: Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in DATEV, DUO, and ERP systems.
  • Communication: Strong language skills in both German and English, enabling smooth collaboration across teams.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to financial data management and reconciliation.
  • Positive & Open Personality: A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to contribute ideas while focusing on hands-on accounting work.
