The Area Director of Revenue Management provides strategic leadership support to Hyatt’s managed hotels in Germany. You will oversee, implement and develop revenue management processes to ensure effective market pricing, distribution, channel management and the training and evolution of revenue management best practices for current and future Hyatt hotels in the Germany.

This role is responsible for the revenue management discipline of the entire portfolio of managed hotels in the defined area. The position provides leadership, direction, and management to on-property Revenue teams in order to achieve total hotel revenue and market share objectives.

This role will also assist in implementing Hyatt’s global distribution strategy in Germany and aligning hotel activities to a) grow profitable room nights through Direct Channels and b) improve profitability of intermediated channels.

In this role you will proactively assist in positioning individual properties to ensure proper analysis, strategy, and execution is applied.

You will work with counterparts in Sales, Marketing, F&B and Rooms as appropriate to develop hotel specific sales strategies and programs to drive revenue and meet the hotels’ business goals.

To successfully fulfill this role, you should have a bachelor degree in a relevant field as well as a minimum of 5 years experience in Revenue Management. Furthermore, a good understanding of revenue management analytics and pricing systems is a must have for this position. Experience across multiple properties is preferred but not essential.
