The team you join is responsible for integrating database and operating system platforms into the SAP product family. This task is performed by joint development teams consisting of engineers from SAP and partner companies, namely Oracle, Microsoft, and IBM.
We deal with large and complex customer system landscapes with highly critical business applications. Our integration work therefore requires a strong focus on quality and performance, especially when applying the latest technology enhancements.

You will gain a deep insight into the latest technology stacks and highly valued experience of working with partners and customers around the world.

Your work will cover selected topics in the context of the supported database and operating system platforms:

  • SQL interface to the database
  • Database specifics of lifecycle management processes

  • Very good master’s degree in computer science, natural sciences or equivalent areas
  • Technical knowledge of a relational database including SQL
  • Experience in C/C++ programming on UNIX and/or Windows
  • Service and customer orientation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English and German
