We’re seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth and partnerships for our esports clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with esports organizations, and driving revenue growth through sponsorships, partnerships, and other initiatives for our clients.
- Securing new partners to contribute to the revenue targets of our rightsholder portfolio in the esports industry
- Research and identifying potential target industry sectors, brands and contact details for the best person to approach
- Develop and maintain relationships with esports organizations, teams, and influencers
- Working with the ideation and conception team to create bespoke partnership proposals
- Concluding partnership agreements, including negotiation of commercial terms, working alongside all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative offerings and solutions
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for esports initiatives
- Attending appropriate sport industry and sector specific events to network and develop new leads
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorship in the esports industry
- Deep understanding of the esports landscape, including teams, players, events, and trends
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and partners
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of driving revenue growth and building successful partnerships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
