Your contribution:

As the Commercial Controller (m/f/d) you will provide financial leadership to the commercial team in Middle East and Turkey and drive integrity in financial and business decisions. As Commercial Controller (m/f/d) you enforce compliance with corporate and regional policies. The role will be based in our Clarios EMEA headquarters office in Hannover, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as business partner to the commercial team in the MET (Middle East, Turkey) region, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions

  • Supports the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in the region

  • Responsible for the oversight of the fully consolidated Turkey JV integration process. Monitors and reports on the financial performance of the JV, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Monitors and reports on the financial performance of the non-consolidated Saudi JV, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

  • Prepares timely and accurate financial reports in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements

  • Drives planning and forecasting processes

  • Provides financial support on regional projects

  • Provides support to local teams on compliance matters, fostering a culture of integrity and accountability

  • Renews or creates regional financial policies or work instructions

  • Exhibits and promotes highest level of ethics in conducting and supporting business transactions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree, MBA or CPA preferred

  • Solid years of experience in Finance or Controlling with P&L responsibility, preferably in emerging markets

  • Proficient work experience within a multinational matrix organization

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to changes in local regulations

  • Ability to drive accountability and results and demonstrate business acumen

  • Strong customer focus, both internal and external

  • Personal integrity, high reliability and identification with the company

  • Ability to enable teamwork and involvement

  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Turkey would be an asset

  • Fluency in English language – both in written and spoken, Turkish or Arabic would be an asset
