Our Methanol Assets team in Düsseldorf is looking for you!

  • Steer and manage all commercial aspects related to the respective project including the development and negotiation of key commercial contracts & agreements
  • Ensure and safeguard the full delivery of the commercial business case of the project
  • Closely collaborate and align with the (Senior) General Project Manager regarding all commercial aspects of the project
  • Work closely together with all group functions supporting the delivery of the project (e.g. Controlling, Procurement, Accounting etc.)
  • Together with (Senior) General Project Manager ensure the alignment of the project with Uniper’s legal, commercial, and governance requirements
  • Prepare and align all relevant commercial information and documents for the regular meetings of the Project Committee as well as for major decisions/ approvals (i.e. Strategic Decision “SD”, Financial Decision “FD”) related to the project
  • Actively liaise and keep contact with key commercial partners of the project
  • Together with the (Senior) General Project Manager ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget and in line with the defined quality specifications

  • University degree in relevant studies, e.g. business administration, law, finance or similar
  • More than 5 years of business experience in the energy industry
  • Demonstrable experience in a commercial management role in the power and gas sector with focus on large capex asset projects and major commercial contracts, e.g. gas supply agreement, power purchase agreements, joint development agreements, JV agreements
  • Excellent conceptual and strategic thinking
  • Experience with working in international teams
  • Distinct team player skills with ability to integrate in diverse cultures and to cope with a fast-changing business environment

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
