ReDI School of Digital Integration is a non-profit digital school for tech-interested locals and newcomers in Germany.
We offer our students high-quality training and the chance to collaborate with the start-up and digital industry.
Our aim is to provide our students with valuable digital skills and a strong network of tech leaders, students and alumni to help create new opportunities for all.
Your mission
Your goal is to create and cultivate a collaborative and inclusive community dedicated to developing tech skills for newcomers looking to build a career in the German tech scene. You aim to create an environment where partners, volunteers and students collectively contribute to positive social change within the tech industry.
Your tasks
Community Building:
- Build and nurture a diverse community for the Digital Career Program Hamburg.
- Establishing a network with universities, corporate partners, projects and institutions in Hamburg.
Recruitment Strategy:
- Co-develop an outreach strategy for the Digital Career Program in Hamburg.
- Coordinate recruiting, onboarding and managing students.
- Conduct recruitment calls, assessments, and outreach to attract potential volunteers.
Onboarding, ongoing support and off-boarding:
- Lead the on-boarding and off-boarding process for some of the courses in the Digital Career Program.
- Foster volunteer and student well-being and growth and coordinate teaching teams for some of the courses in the Digital Career Program.
- Supervision and coordination of volunteers and students.
Event Coordination and Engagement:
- Support with the implementation of project-specific activities in Hamburg.
- Promote local ReDI School events and workshops, engaging the local community.
Data management and experience overview
- Maintain data collection and data analysis according to the program standards.
- Collect feedback from the community.
Collaboration and teamwork
- Collaborate with the DCP (Digital Career Program) team for seamless program planning, coordination and development.
- Provide support for generic program tasks and activities related to the program plan and key semester events.
- Support with activities of the Digital Career Program (occasionally in the evenings).
- Completed university studies (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, FH/diploma or equivalent) in the field of management, educational science, business informatics, media informatics or proven equivalent knowledge and skills as well as relevant professional experience (at least 3 years)
- Good knowledge of English and German (preferred)
- Good understanding of the tech industry in Hamburg
- Flexibility to adapt to fast-changing situations
- Experience working in multicultural contexts
- Knowledge of volunteer management and conflict resolution
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Creativity and passion for facilitation
- Experience with Salesforce (a big advantage)
