We’re hiring! Are you our new creative marketing intern?

 

The Local is looking for a creative marketing intern to work with our award-winning commercial content team.

 

This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants to work as part of a commercial team within a digital news outlet. You will gain valuable experience working on native advertising content for our roster of domestic and international clients.

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Preparing content for publication on our website and social channels

  • Monitoring content using social and site analytics tools (training given)

  • Researching clients and concepts for campaigns

  • Reporting on campaign performance

  • Ad hoc daily jobs such as organising interviews, gathering assets for campaigns, creation of social media content​

You will work in close collaboration with The Local’s commercial content team and social media manager.

 

You are/have:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Excellent organisational skills and an eagle-eye for detail

  • Keen interest in digital and social media marketing

  • Design/photography/video skills (a bonus)

  • Creative and bubbling with ideas

You will get:

  • Experience working in an agency-style environment

  • Hands-on experience with global brands and clients

  • Training using site and social analytics tools

  • Experience using a CMS (content management system)

  • A monthly travel card for Stockholm
