The BMW Group international customs team operates globally. Our dynamic work environment fosters creativity, collaboration, and growth. We understand ourselves as business enabler of the BMW Group. We advise internal stakeholders and provide information to decision makers at all levels of hierarchy on international customs and foreign trade. Furthermore, we are involved in new ESG regulations and are driving technical innovations to speed up the automation of processes and to better deal with big amounts of data.
What awaits you?
- An exciting task at the interface between customs/trade/ESG regulations and the IT system and process world.
- Spearhead customs trade innovation initiatives, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Analyze Big Data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in customs operations.
- Make a difference in a globally active team with the perspective of developing both professionally and personally.
- Mentor and guide young professionals, leveraging their fresh perspectives and energy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with university partners to facilitate student internships and research collaborations.
What should you bring along?
- Degree in Economics, International Trade or related field, Law, Computer Science, a comparable degree or comparable qualification.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data and AI tools, such as Celonis.
- Excellent Excel skills and ideally already experience with SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to present complex topics across hierarchies in a simple and understandable way.
- Customs and trade technical qualifications are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
