Description

As a Data Engineering Working Student at Banware, you’ll work closely with our tech team on various data infrastructure projects. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing our data pipelines, gaining practical experience with leading tools like Snowflake, dbt (data build tool), and Fivetran to manage and transform data from diverse sources.

  • Assist in designing, building, and maintaining efficient data pipelines using Fivetran and dbt.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage and optimize our Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Contribute to data quality and governance by implementing best practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues as they arise.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to create interactive dashboards that support business growth.

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
  • Familiar with SQL and have some experience working with databases.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • A quick learner, especially when it comes to new tools and technologies like Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran

    This is a working student position (20 hours/week) based in Berlin with office presence. Our new and modern office is located in Berlin-Mitte, close to the U6 station Naturkundemuseum and the S-Bahn station Nordbahnhof.
