We are seeking a full-time (38,5hrs/week) Development Aid Proposal Manager to join our Berlin team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the proposal design and negotiation with the business development team, identifying business opportunities through project tenders in the renewable energy sector with development aid and multilateral institutions (a.e. GIZ, UN, World Bank, KfW), as well as drafting proposals, performing calculations, and applying for these projects. This role involves managing and designing project proposals, from planning and writing to budgeting, with a specific focus on development aid renewable energy capacity building projects.
About the Role
This role involves:
- Proposal Oversight : Managing the design, planning, writing, and budgeting of renewable energy capacity-building projects.
- Business Opportunities : Identifying and evaluating project tenders in the renewable energy sector with multilateral institutions.
- Proposal Drafting : Managing and drafting technical and financial proposals.
- Tender Management : Overseeing the entire tender process.
- Collaboration : Working closely with internal departments for successful project delivery.
- Representation : Representing RENAC at various events.
What you should bring with you:
- Experience : At least 3 years in monitoring and preparing proposals for development aid and technical assistance projects.
- Knowledge : Familiarity with tender processes for institutions like GIZ, EU, World Bank, KfW, UN, and expertise in GIZ’s Capacity Works processes.
- Skills : Strong analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and excellent communication in English.
- Education : A university degree in a related field (engineering, business, etc.) is preferred.
