With our current Head of IT and BPO are heading to a new position within the company, DHL Global Forwarding Denmark is searching for our next Head of IT and BPO. If you bring relevant experience, strong personal skills, and a passion for coaching and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.

The physical work location is in Hedegaardsvej, Copenhagen S.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Country IT/BPO leadership including membership of Country Senior Management Team
  • IT Budgeting and cost control
  • Drives Cyber Security
  • Provide and deliver IT application trainings and support
  • Drive master data management and data quality
  • Drive and delivery of customer and supplier IT integrations and customer specific IT solutions
  • Ensure reliable and stable IT Infrastructure and Communication
  • Support Global ISM Rollouts
  • Drives the Danish quality assurance and certifications (ISO)
  • Owns country IT Product Solution Design
  • Leads country IT projects and IRR programs
  • Manages country IT applications landscape

To be considered for this position, we are looking for someone who:

  • thrives in an independent role within a dynamic industry where no two days are the same.
  • has 5-10 years experience from similar position – preferably within the logistics industry, but not a firm requirement
  • brings passion to their work and is eager to join an organization that encourages living out this passion.
  • may already be in a managerial or senior role and is looking to take the next step in their career.
  • envisions themselves as a leader in an organization where “Respect and Results” guide interactions with employees, customers, and investors.
  • is comfortable using IT systems and
  • can communicate professionally in both Danish and English.

Working hours: The position is a full-time position

The compensation package: The base salary is determined by your qualifications and competencies. The position is graded and sit within a predefined payband. Besides the base salary you will have – just to mentioned a few of the benefits – a pension scheme, bonus scheme, 25+5 vacation days per year, and a “Fritvalgskonto” (a “saving account” equal to 9% of your annual salary) paid out in December.
