Role Summary

As Director HR Europe Automotive Aftermarket & Operations you will lead a team of HR managers in AA plants across Europe.

Your Challenge:

  • Support and guide the HR Managers and HR Business Partners in all employee lifecycle aspects
  • Interface between the managers and the different HR areas (HR Competence Centre) as well as consultant at eye level for the management functions in the company
  • Participation in (management) meetings in the responsive Business Unit and representation of HR topics
  • Design and execute the strategy for the HR function derived from the Business and the global HR strategy
  • Partner with the respective Business and Operations Leader on all people and culture topics
  • Define and execute all people related KPIs, ensure the achievement and define actions in case of deviations
  • Collaborating with different internal stakeholders from other functions and other levels to deliver best in class HR solutions

Your Profile

  • Education: Successfully completed studies with focus on economics, organizational management, psychology/social sciences or law
  • Experience: Several years of experience as HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Required Skills:
    • Leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant
    • Proven experience in partnering with decision makers in the business or in manufacturing at least on a regional level
    • Excellent business and HR understanding and the ability to find solutions for their people
  • Language: Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Competencies:
    • Modern understanding and passion for HR work at eye level
    • You convince with your strong communication skills, assertiveness, resilience and empathy as well as structured and analytical way of working
    • High willingness to travel within Europe and strongly developed intercultural competence
