Your mission

  • Help our customers navigate the complex topic of energetic renovations, which is subject to technological, economic, environmental, and policy constraints.
  • Empower homeowners by equipping them with the necessary data and tools to make actionable decisions that are cost- and CO₂-conscious.
  • Use extensive data processes, machine learning, simulation models, and constraint optimisation to improve the planning of energetic renovations.

  • Academic background in physic, energy engineering, building physics, computer science or similar.
  • Professional background in developing energy modelling software.
  • You are proficient in writing production quality code.
  • Previous experience in building complex data processes.
  • First principle thinking.
  • Experience as a researcher or extensive knowledge in the fields of energetic building assessment and optimisation.
  • You have a good overview of the technical landscape and possibilities in the AEC industry, especially in the context of energy auditing. Bonus Points if you have:
  • Open Source contributions to AEC tools (e. g. EnergyPlus, Honeybee, Speckle, …).
  • Publications related to energy auditing of buildings and their optimisation.
  • Experience with 3D file formats and standards (IFC, …).
  • You have familiarity with the German building sector and its relevant standards and regulations.
