Our department „Certification Safety“ is responsible for making sure that Mercedes-Benz vehicles comply with world-wide vehicle safety regulations and for coordinating all related certification activities. The scope of our activities cover all Mercedes-Benz passenger car and van models. Together with our partners from Research and Development, we ensure the market-readyness our groundbreaking innovations.
Our team consists of 12 highly motivated, fun-to-work-with colleagues, who are looking forward for you to join in. When working with us, you will take responsibility for challenging projects and interesting tasks that are highly relevant for the company.
These challenges await you:
- You will analyse the world-wide regulatory environment for automotive radio frequency applications (e.g. remote car keys, Wi-Fi, vehicle radar, etc.)
- You act as a consultant for our partners at Research and Development regarding these regulations. In doing so, you help to ensure the certification-readiness of innovative technologies
- In order to remain up to date about current developments you represent our company in international committees and reach out to regulatory authorities
- You comment on regulation drafts and discuss technical solutions with the responsible authorities
Ideally, you bring the following:
- A completed technical degree (preferably in the fields of Electrical and Information Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or a related area),
- Fluent German and English language skills,
- Strong analytical and presentation skills for technically complex topics,
- The ability to organize yourself effectively, paired with a confident demeanor to round off your qualifications.
