- Hazardous materials management: Implement and improve a system for the safe handling of hazardous materials
- Risk assessments: Assist in creating and updating risk assessments
- Consulting: Provide expert advice on hazardous goods and waste disposal
- Environmental guidelines: Contribute to the development of global environmental standards
- Project management: Lead projects with interdisciplinary teams
- Audits: Conduct regular internal audits
- Reporting: Analyze and report environmental KPIs
- Degree in environmental science, sustainability or a related field, with preferred specialization in environmental management, hazardous materials, waste management or compliance, along with relevant professional experience in environmental auditing, consulting or sustainability reporting
- Strong knowledge of environmental standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g. ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, CSRD)
- Robust project management skills, with proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and lead cross-functional projects within collaborative environments that emphasize both teamwork and personal accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, particularly regarding environmental compliance, waste, and hazardous materials management
- Preferred experience working in international settings and a strong awareness of cultural sensitivities in implementing environmental standards across global teams
- Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal proficiency in English; German is a plus
- Possibility for more than 60% remote work (home office)
