Muehlhan Holding GmbH (MYGMBH) in Hamburg, Germany, is one of over 40 companies across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia. The corporate holding company, with approximately 25 employees, provides central functions such as accounting, IT, and legal services to the operating units.

Muehlhan operates in two main sectors: Wind energy and Marine & Infrastructure. Our Wind division provides a full range of services for wind turbines. Marine & Infrastructure focuses on shipbuilding, repair, and infrastructure projects including bridge renovation, industrial plant maintenance, and building construction.

We are looking for an ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) Lead (all genders) in Hamburg or Gdansk

The ESG Lead will be a strategic driver, fostering a culture of sustainability and driving the implementation of our ESG strategy. They will serve as a key liaison with stakeholders, ensuring transparent and comprehensive ESG reporting. By championing continuous improvement and innovation, the ESG Lead will position our organization as a leader in sustainable business practices.

  • Develop, mature and approve ESG efforts, activities, documentation and reporting that continuously improves the performance on site as part of the company’s management system
  • Evaluate and analyze company standards and processes to identify areas and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organization’s commitment to CSR, ESG and sustainability in the sharp-end
  • Advice our management on priorities, external requirements and the most optimal approach for our products, services and activities
  • Ensure internal and external ESG reporting for the Group
  • You will be a part of a cross-disciplinary organization where close collaboration is carried out with subject matter experts and colleagues across projects, national borders and the organization’s functions
  • Facilitate or support a continuous improvement of the organization in changes
  • Engage and inspire employees to recognize CSR and ESG improvement opportunities and actively participate in the realization/validation of their suggestions

  • Good knowledge of ESG, ISO, CSR-D, and environmental legislation
  • Ability to understand technical specifications and standards
  • Creative problem-solving approach and ability to work independently
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops
  • Adaptability: Thrives in complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of common IT tools.
  • Fluency in English
