Refinement and develop simple versions of forecasting models and financial trends to support affiliates by using advanced statistical techniques; Design models that relate GDP activities to financial results; Design tools that link models to secondary data; Design bottom-up models; Design custom analysis tools in applications such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, MS Excel; Synthesize and communicate results; Develop and refine forecast platform and dashboards; Develop algorithms to simulate market dynamics and product usage (with guidance); Improve upon the accuracy of modeling and forecasting platforms; Build simulators, dashboards and user interfaces; Provide toolkits, tutorials and function as a technical expert  for the team. You will be a member of the Global Distribution Program (GDP) Team in a fast paced, dynamic, and global environment.  The individual will be responsible for forecast, scenario planning, and sensitivity analyses for cost and financial models in the scope of GDP. The role involves active participation in creating, maintaining, designing, and delivering financial models/dashboards. The individual in this role will be tapped to leverage his/her computational, programming, and analytic skills to develop innovative forecast modeling platforms, tools and planning algorithms that enable GDP to project future GDP outcomes and identify key levers and risks in the project. The role will support the translation of complex data sets to management. The individual may be requested to allocate some of his/her time in creation of presentations.


BA or MA in Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics


Mastering Excel is mandatory; Analytic and quantitative exp. is required, in addition to an academic record of analytic and quantitative work; Strong communication skills, strong attention to detail, must have built analytical tools and platforms that have been used for business/forecast planning, including previous use of patient based and agent-based forecast models; High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative; Ability to develop innovative solutions; Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks; Attitude for and enjoyment of working in dynamic teams; Experience within the Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare or financial, commercial, distribution services industries in a forecasting/business analytics capacity.
