You will join our Customer Success team, responsible for implementing and supporting projects in the field of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for material transport in warehouses and production environments. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile, international and distributed workforce, creating the best possible experience for our customers.

Field Engineer (d/f/m)

As a Field Engineer at arculus, you will ensure a smooth transition from the project phase to the go live of the AMR system. You will be responsible for pre-planning and executing the implementation on-site, working towards maximum customer satisfaction and successful final acceptance of the system by the customer.

Your tasks will include:

  • Familiarisation with new projects and products
  • On-site commissioning planning
  • Interface testing of the various trades
  • Mapping of customer environment
  • Layouting a stable and secure system
  • Representing arculus at shop floor rounds
  • Carrying out availability and performance tests
  • Training of customer operators and arculus 2nd level software support
  • Detailed data backup

  • Completed training as an IT specialist, mechatronics technician, automotive mechatronics technician, electronics technician or service technician
  • Affinity with software and robotic systems
  • Ability to assess critical incidents and solve customer problems
  • Fluency in English and German

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Several years of experience implementing automated systems or in a similar position
  • Good Linux knowledge
  • Experience in the field of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)
  • Ability to apply knowledge to unknown problems
  • Very good and open communication skills
  • High degree of flexibility and initiative
  • High willingness to travel internationally (70%)

  • You will be given a company car to drive to the on-site implementations.
