Job Description
As a team of three, we expand our carrier network and enhance solutions for our customers. In this role, you will acquire new logistics service providers across Europe and build strong commercial partnerships in freight forwarding. Our goal is to secure the best rates with top operational performance for our tailor-made cross-border logistics solutions.
The essence of your role
- Being responsible for the strategic purchasing process of transport services (FTL, LTL, general cargo)
- Managing the existing network of transport partners and supporting the development of our transport solutions
- Conducting the performance reviews with your partners
- Working closely across teams with our Supply Chain Planning, Freight Forwarding, and Parcel Logistics teams
- Taking part in projects to optimise and automate processes
Qualifications
This is what you need to succeed
- Education or experience in logistics
- Experience in road freight transport, purchasing national and international land transport is a plus
- Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset with a sense of ownership, and a genuine motivation to learn and grow within the logistics field
- Good knowledge of MS Office products
- Fluent English skills, German skills (min B2)
