We are looking for an enthusiastic
Full Stack Developer (f/m/x)
- Full stack development within the INFRAFRONTIER informatics infrastructure together with other members of the team
- Ensuring database and web application security, performance and service availability
- Expanding MySQL database schema, user interfaces and Solr Cores to record and provide research data from new services added to the INFRAFRONTIER portfolio
- Maintenance and further development of the WordPress based web portal together with external web design company
- Cloud deployment of INFRAFRONTIER software products
- Working together with international collaborators
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline and at least three years of work experience
- Substantial experience with virtual server management (ideally Ubuntu Linux) and basic networking skills
- Proficiency in Java web programming technologies and frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, JavaScript, Vaadin)
- Working knowledge of build automation and scripting languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Perl and shell scripting)
- Experience with Jira and Git appreciated
- Structured working style and ability to solve problems effectively in a team and on your own
