Your Role
This role encompasses business support to the Global Account Director (GAD) within the Global Key Account (GKA) team, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.
- Support Growth Plans: Assist the GAD in executing and delivering aggressive growth strategies.
- Pricing Management: Implement and manage agreed pricing agreements on a daily basis.
- Project Management: Implement and oversee PACE projects daily, including sample orders, documentation, status reviews, customer communications, and proactive follow-ups.
- KAM Development Plans: Support the development and execution of Key Account Management (KAM) development plans and innovation presentations.
- Client Communication: Manage client interactions via email, telephone, and in-person as needed, addressing requests for samples, pricing, specifications, and other essential information.
- Reporting: Assist the GAD in producing monthly reports from the Enterprise Information System (EIS) on sales, budgets, forecasts, and pricing for regional and global markets, along with other GKA support tasks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales, consumer insights, supply chain, category, and technical teams to ensure flawless project execution and alignment with customer requirements.
- Performance Assessment: Support the GAD in evaluating the performance of the standard product portfolio, identifying improvement areas based on KPIs, and maintaining an effective product database.
- Project Monitoring: Oversee customer projects to ensure quality expectations and timelines are met, following up on results with the sales team.
- Regulatory Communication: Implement and manage “Document Requests” with regulatory departments and communicate results to customers.
About You
- Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.; technical background is a plus.
- Proven experience with national and international accounts in sales, marketing, or category management, relevant to the role or customer service.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to plan workload effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and Symrise systems (EIS, PACE, SAP, SYMCOM).
- Teamwork: Strong team player with effective collaboration skills.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities
- Fluency in both English and German is required.
