  • Develop, implement, and monitor the global category strategy
  • Provide guidance to the Category Buyers and support them in achieving defined goals
  • Define targets for negotiations
  • Responsible for global contract negotiations
  • Leading the category team functionally and strengthen the category network within the FUCHS group
  • Analyzing and optimizing suppliers as well as raw materials portfolios and derive appropriate measures
  • Managing suppliers strategically

  • Completed studies with a focus on business, industrial engineering or chemistry
  • Experience in strategic procurement / category management in a regional or global set-up or in a similar position like B2B Sales, ideally in the automotive industry
  • High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Goal-oriented way of working with strong strategic thinking skills
  • Collaborative personality with excellent communication skills and persuasiveness through different hierarchical levels to balance different interests in global matrix organizations
  • Proactive, determined, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Business fluent in German and English and willingness to travel internationally
