  • Global responsibility for the Engineering division in accordance with the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO) specifications
  • Integrated product development with platform and product management, production and purchasing to ensure market-compliant and production-ready solutions
  • Establishment and further development of a high-performance, cross-functional, global engineering organization through the further development of a systematic and key performance indicator-oriented approach
  • Establishment and development of global locations to regionalize development expertise and strengthen the APAC and AMERICAS regions
  • Promotion of a collaborative culture between locations and the disciplines of mechanics, electrics, embedded systems and software development
  • Overall responsibility for the technical implementation of product developments and platform solutions
  • Continuation of a model-based systems engineering methodology for virtual validation in conjunction with subsequent physical, data-supported validation to shorten development times while improving quality
  • Development of modular product architectures to promote configurability, high commonality of parts and efficient product maintenance throughout the product life cycle

  • Master degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or similar
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in automation technology and OT/IT networking and/or intralogistics
  • Relevant professional experience in an international development environment with cross-functional management responsibility
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (at least C1 level)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and high degree of creativity and solution-oriented thinking
  • Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
