The purpose of this position is to drive SW revenue growth globally and drive business expansion within the Commercial market segments. Primary responsibility will be to implement the appropriate global growth strategy managing the local team members and driving the operative SW solutions sales within the Commercial market. Aim is to provide internal and customer detailed technical sales support to the Global and Regional Account Management teams to maximize SW sales.

  • Leads the SW Sales Commercial team in achieving the global SW order, revenue and profitability targets
  • Supports regional Sales Directors in defining, scoping, offering and closing SW sales opportunities
  • Coordinates new SW solutions introductions and market launch
  • Steers and optimizes business development and strategic planning of market business expansion
  • Ensures SW sales plans are in place in regions and responsible for implementing and resourcing of winning sales strategies
  • Manages assignment of SW sales targets to SW sales team and to the regions aligned to the strategic financial planning
  • Steers global sales channel and partner management to optimize SW sales through upselling and portfolio promotion
  • Accountable for sales funnel, opportunity management, accurate and up-to-date revenue reporting
  • Accountable for ensuring deal negotiations meet acceptable risk vs. reward
  • Drives strategic cash cycle and related consulting within Commercial market
  • Support for the Strategic Portfolio Management through internal consulting regarding market trends and potentially new needed products/solutions
  • Serves as the connective link to the Sales Consultancy team and to Product Management in the design process of new SW solutions
  • Analysis of customer status quo to understand the current business situation and identification of demands, using business analysis tools
  • Identification of solutions by deciding on the appropriate portfolio of products based on the analysis to improve current customer operation
  • Identification and evaluation of degree of required customization in terms of technical specifications derived from customer needs

Multi-year experience in:

  • Cash Management industry
  • Ideally, more than five years leadership experience with SW sales teams in a global environment
  • International work environment
  • Driving success in complex deal shaping and commercial negotiation
  • Business case definition, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate benefits
  • Definition of action plans, change management process, risks estimation
  • Best practices definition both in organization alignment and technology
  • Understanding of technology components
