The Cloud Identity Access Governance Team (IAG) works with 4 Scrum teams in Germany, Czech Republic and in the US on the next generation of cloud-based Access Governance Software.

What you`ll do

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HANA (senior) developer with additional Java skills that together with our engineering team creating the next generation of cloud access management solutions.

The Role:

In that role you will be the main HANA DB expert for our engineering teams, designing and supervising all DB artefacts and orchestrate their lifecycle in all SAP BTP accounts. You will design, implement and improve database artefacts. You will also develop full stack BTP Java applications, starting from the design of HANA tables, ending with automated scenario tests using QMate and everything in-between. You are expected to work in a Scrum team, write superior code that passes all quality criteria and check tools, develop unit and interface tests and participate in DevOPS activities. Our team also practices a rolling customer support duty where you solve customer and internal tickets. In your position you will mentor less experienced colleagues and supervise working students. You are expected to contribute to our innovation POCs and architecture discussions.

  • Extensive knowledge (5-7 years) in HANA database development
  • Good knowledge in Java, preferably for cloud services
  • Deep expertise with software engineering principles like clean code, CI/CD with a proven track of projects in GitHub
  • Expert experience with GitHub, HANA Studio, Jenkins, SonarCube, QMate and other engineering tools in use in SAP

As our team is working distributed over multiple locations, good English language skills orally and written are essential. We are looking for team players that enjoy international work.
