Duties
Drive the Bühler Project Management (BPM) tool development and lifecycle management

Ensure the adequate use of the tool through training and monitoring

Lead improvement projects with the support of a multifunctional team

Generate reports and executive summaries for analyses and top management reporting purposes

Actively manage all projects within the Project Management Office as project controller

Conduct a quality and consistency check of the input provided in the BPM tool with regards to financials, R&O, deviations, payments, cost development, turnover of A/B projects and cross projects

Actively participate and contribute to Steering committee meetings

Liaise with the Head of PMO on the financials of the monitored projects in order to define forecasts and actions on cost development, R&O, etc.

Align with Corporate Finance / Commercial to ensure reconciliation takes place between approved project financial data and bookings

Support project close-out and claims, incl. customer correspondence
Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Economics or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager or Project Controller or proof of sufficient skills

Ideally with financial and accounting knowledge and experience in Risks and Opportunities management and application

Advanced business training (NDS, CAS, MAS) and / or PMI Certification

Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines

Strong planning, organizing and priority-setting skills

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams

Ability to work on multiple projects in a highly structured and organized manner within an interdisciplinary environment and a matrix organization

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in an international environment

Fluent in English and preferably a second language e.g. German, Spanish or Chinese

Highly proactive, driven, motivated and flexible
