  • Disciplinary and operational management of the German logistics team and further development of the international teams in the European subsidiaries
  • Development and implementation of a holistic European logistics concept, including new value-added services for sustainable business development
  • Development of individual logistics concepts in collaboration with key accounts and key suppliers, as well as identification and implementation of digitalisation and automation potential
  • Analysis and optimisation of European freight flows and EU import processes with a focus on efficiency, cost optimisation and sustainability
  • Regular evaluation and further development of warehouse and distribution structures in terms of geographical location, capacity utilisation, service levels and costs
  • Development and ongoing refinement of reporting tools for transparent and ad hoc monitoring of logistics costs in collaboration with Controlling
  • Management of external transport and logistics service providers and negotiation of land and sea transports, including full cost responsibility
  • Responsibility for customs-related processes, ensuring and further developing AEO status, and monitoring dangerous goods standards
  • Direct reporting to the COO

  • Completed degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in international logistics or supply chain management, ideally in a European environment
  • In-depth knowledge of transport logistics (land, sea, air), warehouse logistics and freight/tender management
  • Experience in managing complex logistics networks and working with external service providers
  • Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as a structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach to work with a high level of understanding of KPIs
  • Empathetic leadership style
  • Business fluent written and spoken German and English; other languages are an advantage
  • High level of intercultural competence, combined with strong communication and assertiveness skills, particularly in international, intercultural teams
  • Willingness to travel within Europe – flexible and independent in terms of the role
