About the Role

As a Head of People & Culture, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle for Kironistas, ensuring smooth internal processes and an outstanding employee experience; and lead and design our people-centric initiatives, in an exciting transitional period for Kiron.

Your Tasks

  • Coordination, oversight and strategic leadership of the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition, to on- and offboarding, learning & development, employee wellbeing, and rewards & recognition.
  • Oversight of people operations and payroll, ensuring accuracy, smooth processing and GDPR compliance.
  • Team leadership of people & operations manager / office manager.
  • Stakeholder management and communication, including internally with management. Works Council and employees / teams, and externally with tax advisor, freelancers and service providers.

Your

  • You are passionate about our mission to democratise access to education for refugees and disadvantaged communities worldwide.
  • You have held a senior position in people & culture, ideally with leadership responsibility, in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
  • You have hands-on experience in people operations, recruiting, employee experience
  • You are able to balance high-level strategic thinking with nitty gritty operational work, and enjoy both
  • You are extremely organised, discerning and able to juggle multiple priorities and make decisions on the go
  • You are able to switch between different topics and modes of work (strategic operational, emotional – analytical) quickly
  • You are emotionally intelligent and a clear communicator, able to interact and find common ground with different types of stakeholders
  • You are fluent in English and

  • In depth knowledge of German labour law

Further experience in one of the following:

  • Personnel planning & staffing, especially in a NGO or project-based environment
  • Nuanced understanding of the intersection between organisational, financial,legal and cultural aspects of people & culture

The range foreseen for this role is between 4750 – 5750 Euros / monthly for a full-time
