In our Public Affairs team, we manage public funding opportunities, shape regional and global policy topics, and forge strategic partnerships within the CDR and construction industries. We’re shaping our future market
Public Affairs is part of our Marketing organization. We tell neustark’s stories to our target groups: from local construction recyclers to sustainability officers at international companies, from our colleagues current and potential to the general public, and from policymakers to investors. We do so on channels such as online, media, onsite at our plants, at events, associations, public funding and awards. We’re building the neustark brand
YOUR mission at neustark:
Your mission is to put neustark on the map as one of the leading CDR companies when it comes to shaping the future carbon removal and greener construction markets. To do so, you will:
- Shape the overarching policy strategy, messaging and targets for neustark in the mid and long terms for both carbon removal and greener construction.
- Create and deliver a clearly structured action plan for advocacy on the 2 key themes, along with your growing team.
- Deliver your action plan to establish/foster relationships with key industry stakeholders and policy makers on EU, CH, FR, DE & UK level. To do so, take a leading role various industry associations, establishing neustark as a recognized name in policy discussions.
- Build up a strong team aligning CDR and greener construction advocacy targets, efficiently embedding into the Marketing and overall neustark organizations.
- Initiate and deliver data-based, internal processes to ensure regular information flow and measure the impact of policy outcomes on the company’s objectives.
This is YOU:
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in EU policy and advocacy. Specific experience in climate policy is a strong plus, and specifically in carbon removal a further plus.
- A solid grasp of and stakeholder network in climate and greener construction policies on EU level. Knowledge of national (DE, FR, CH, UK, and/or USA) climate policies is a plus.
- A good mix of structured strategic thinking and roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-things-done mentality.
- Previous experience working in a hyper-growth environment and helping to shape and build an organization’s policy function.
- Previous experience in or strong motivation to grow into a team leadership role.
- Fluency in English and German. French is a plus.
