- Tests, when necessary, the standard times for each subproject to ensure that the work to be carried out is feasible and adjusts the workflow if necessary in consultation with the CM (construction manager)
- Prepares assignment and working method for the next turbine project together with CM / GPM
- Monitors the progress, quality and quantity of the work QIIW staff’s work
- Responsible for the regional planning, capacity management and optimal resources allocation of the QIIW
- Leads, coaches and supervises of the QIIW
- Acts as a source of information for the QIIW to resolve identified problems
- Provides technical support to the employee and communicates with Head of construction, headquarters global management and other team leaders in the construction team
- Performs and checks administrative work, including completing and checking work orders and registration
- Attends project start-up and kick-off meetings
- Safety assurance
- Conducts workplace inspections on existing and new sites according to guidelines
- Provides training to QIIW
- Reports dangerous situations and escalates to the project managers if necessary
- Supervises compliance with and enforces applicable procedures, regulations and standards regarding work equipment, quality, working conditions, safety, environment and technology
- Professional experience with internal business organization, processes, policies, regulations
- Knowledge of and regulations concerning QHSE
- User know-how of application programs and business automation (SAP, Lotus Notes, ARIS, Sharepoint)
- Product knowledge and work preparation skills
- Expertise in the installation of wind turbines and large transport
- Technical know-how in mechanical or electrical engineering, installation and assembly of wind turbine technology
- Excellent German and English language skills
