Our client

Our client is a leading company in EdTech sector and known for its innovative approaches both in education as well as in use of leading technology. Based in the greater Cologne area, it offers a diverse mix of higher education and future skilling courses onsite and online.

We are now searching for the Head of Recruiting (m/f/d), who will be pivotal to the talent acquisition strategy of our client by recruiting talents predominantly in AI, tech, and commercial roles. This role allows you to reshape the recruiting model and process using digital innovation while addressing a high volume of applications annually.

  • Lead and enable the recruiting team
  • Develop and implement a scalable recruiting process to meet the dynamic needs of a growing organization
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience
  • Lead recruiting efforts for technical roles to attract industry-leading tech talent
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with talent pools and networks
  • Leverage modern recruitment marketing methods and optimize based on clear KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with the Employer Branding team to promote our client as an employer of choice
  • Optimize the use of Workday and co-create further digital evolutions, assessing needs for ATS, AI, CRM, etc.
  • Train and support the recruiting team in effectively using Workday

  • Proven experience in recruiting with a successful track record in filling technical roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong expertise in designing and managing scalable recruitment processes, utilizing modern recruitment marketing methods, and KPIs.
  • Experience with Workday or similar ATS is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset coupled with effective execution abilities.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of recruiters, with at least 3 years of leadership experience, ideally in a high-growth tech company.
