Description

Your mission

  • Lead and develop the Supply Planning team to ensure efficient and reliable planning of factory production, materials and capacity
  • Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and logistics departments to ensure a smooth flow of goods, align on service levels, minimum order quantities and delivery performance
  • Develop and align changes to the production schedule when demand or supply deviates from plan.
  • Establish critical inventory parameters – such as ABC classification and safety stock settings, replenishment quantity and launch quantity – considering constraints and inputs variability, such as lead time and order cycle time.
  • Identify possible future capacity constraints and bottlenecks in the supply base, develop solutions to improve
  • Work closely with product development and reflect launch plans into material requirements plans
  • Monitor KPIs within supply planning and ensure that goals are met
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team in supply chain planning

Your experience & skills

  • Degree in engineering, supply chain management or a related field
  • Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry or a related sector
  • Ability to use and develop production/capacity/material planning systems and solutions
  • Proven success in managing and optimizing supply chains and planning processes
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry or a related sector
