Originally, our Hitachi Energy Trafoschool served as the primary development and training platform for teams working in engineering and technology. With over 290 courses and 2280 credentials awarded, we are currently the main access and communication platform for the engineering and technology sector. Focusing on talent, skills, and communication is essential for the further development of the community. Reporting to the Trafoschool Manager in the Central Europe Technology Center, you will oversee the Trafoschool competency and development area, coordinate the creation of job descriptions and skill maps for engineering and technology functions, and cultivate relationships with universities seeking close collaboration and alignment with Trafoschool-s vision (master thesis, dual masters, and internal rotation of engineers to fill competency gaps). Additionally, you will be responsible for the development of a certified pool of trainers within the organization, you will deal with the strategy of Trafoschool and be responsible for communication and promotion.

  • Work with our HR Talent Team, Technology and Engineering functions to capture and analyze the existing skills and identify competency gaps collaborating to create a new approach to FCAs that defines the framework / governance of the future skills mapping process.
  • Responsible for the FCA process in the business unit Technology & Engineering Function, developing a connection between skills mapping and career path.
  • Responsible for the development of trainers within the Trafoschool, organizing programs to develop and improve the skills of trainers.
  • Coordinator for soft skills and trainer for new programs.
  • Responsible for communication and promotion of Trafoschool activities in the community.
  • Cultivate relationships with universities seeking close collaboration and alignment with Trafoschool-s vision (master thesis, dual masters, and internal rotation of engineers to fill competency gaps).
  • Conceptual proposal for educational programs based on Trafoschool content that follow career development in technology and engineering.
  • Ownership of the “Our Experts- communication website, connecting Trafoschool with the new skills mapping tool.
  • Connecting the Trafoschool catalog with Talent Learning and Development.

  • Degree in Business Communication, Human Resources, Talent & Development, Business management or similar education
  • +5 years of work experience, preferably in Research & Development or Engineering
  • Professional experience with transformer industry would be an advantage
  • Experience with employer branding and talent acquisition
