Our strategy? To be anything but typical strategy consultants! Our unconventional nature is embedded deep in our DNA. Sixty years ago, BCG shook up the world of strategy consulting. Now, it has grown to become one of the world leaders in the field. How do we manage to stay ahead of the pack? The answer is simple: by reinventing ourselves every day and providing a home with diverse career opportunities to the best talent and most creative minds all over the world. And by giving you the chance to make an impact in business and society. BCG stands for authenticity, exceptional work, and strong integrity. Once you’ve become part of the Group, we’ll help you find your path, unleash your potential, effect change, and advance the world.

Our most vital resource is our people. That’s why Human Resources is one of our most vital teams: From recruiting to career development for BCGers, and from training and mobility support to staffing (assigning our consultants to client casework), the Human Resources Team plays a decisive role in making BCG not just a company, but a Group in which each individual can be their best.

We have an opening for a flexible, dynamic G&A HR Operations Junior Specialist to join our G&A HR Services Team (temporary position for 13 months). In this role, you’ll support all operational and administrative HR processes along the employee journey (e.g., providing administrative support for employee on- and offboarding, issuing contracts, amendments, and certificates, handling benefits administration, and maintaining personnel files and our HR system in the three topic clusters Lifecycle, Benefits & Development, and Absence & Mobility). As our team is new and being ramped up in the months to come, you will also help us set up a fully functioning and efficient HR unit.

The field of activities within our G&A HR Operations team is as diverse as our employees. With your professional and above-average service mindset, you will act as a direct contact for employees and other HR teams, assisting them with frequently asked general questions such as regarding part-time work, maternity/parental leave, and changes in personal information or status, in addition to employees’ individual questions. You’ll perform the above-mentioned tasks with the support of and in close collaboration with the colleagues in your team and the Centers of Expertise. You’ll also be responsible for correctly entering and maintaining information in our HR system (Workday), ensuring that this is done within the required time and at the highest quality. For selected processes with shared unit responsibility, you’ll collaborate closely with other HR units to ensure that respective employee requests are handled to our internal clients’ satisfaction.

Collaboration in our team is characterized by mutual support, a lively exchange of experiences, strong trust, and a good dose of humor. Integrity is our highest priority. You will report to the G&A HR Operations Director, who will be there for you during your orientation phase and support you in your professional development. You will also always be able to draw on the experience of your coworkers.
