Other key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and responding to day-to-day HR queries, managing HR administrative tasks, and ensuring prompt resolution, while providing HR support to attorneys, paralegals, and staff in line with both local and global HC&T policies and procedures
- Serving as the point of contact for human resources questions, including but not limited to new hire orientation, departure processes, Paid Time Off (PTO), and timekeeping system applications; facilitating connections with appropriate functional departments and providing updates to HR team members as needed
- Leveraging knowledge of the firm’s human resources policies to answer most routine employee lifecycle questions and escalating complex questions and issues as appropriate; following up to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Completing service requests via the case management system from open to closed status, ensuring all service level agreements and deadlines are met, and requests are actioned promptly
- Promoting value-added benefits, wellness events, and training opportunities in partnership with the Well-Being & Benefits and Development & Training departments; connecting staff with these departments as needed
- Providing administrative support to the HC&T teams, including overseeing benefits administration and managing the firm’s Wellness Program for the German offices, while providing additional support to the global HR Services teams on various tasks

- Demonstrate well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
- Display the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus, and handle confidential information
And have:
- A high school diploma or an equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, preferably
- Relevant work experience in a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English
