Position Description

– As part of our global team, you will be located in Hilden (next to Düsseldorf), Germany or Wrocław, Poland.

– You are responsible for implementing and maintaining our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring alignment with organizational objectives

– You update and transform the existing ISMS to meet the requirements of the latest ISO 27001 standard while driving the organization toward achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification by working closely with key stakeholders

– You drive forward the development of and updates to information security policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with the latest regulations and standards

– You contribute to our security awareness and training program for employees

– You support the organization-wide cyber security initiatives and tasks to improve the security maturity of QIAGEN

Position Requirements

– You bring at least 5 years of experience as an information security manager and security professional in a similar role and have proven experience implementing and/or managing an ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) within an environment of similar size and global representation, ideally in a manufacturing environment or in a regulated Biotech/MedTech environment

– You hold a professional qualification suitable to the role: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or comparable

– You are familiar with the latest ISO 27001 standards and European and German Cyber regulations and can guide the organization toward compliance

– You produce high-quality written output, including policies, standards and reports in accordance with the latest regulations

– You complete your profile with excellent collaboration, communication and writing skills in English, German is a plus, and combine it with an analytical personality, able to work with minimal supervision, dedicated to delivering high-quality results while being pragmatic in execution.
