CADUS e.V. (CADUS) is a non-profit and independent emergency response organization that initiates innovative and sustainable projects with a focus on medical care. The development of the projects is based on the diverse professional experience and skills of the team. Interdisciplinary cooperation with numerous partners is just as much a matter of course for CADUS as the early involvement of local communities.

Your role

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced fundraiser with a focus on institutional fundraising and major donations. Your focus will be on foundations, interest groups, large funding institutions and large private donations in order to ensure long-term financial stability for CADUS, regardless of the project.

Your tasks

  • Development and implementation of a strategy for institutional fundraising with a focus on non-project-related funds.
  • Identifying, approaching and building relationships with large companies, foundations, interest groups and relevant funding institutions.
  • Acquisition and cultivation of major donors and development of individual support strategies.
  • Preparation of convincing funding applications, requests and presentations for institutional donors and major private donors.
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with companies, foundations and institutional sponsors.
  • Development of concepts for sustainable financing models and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaboration with the CADUS communication, finance and project management teams to create compelling funding projects.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the development of donations and funding.

  • Several years of experience in (institutional) fundraising (especially in cooperation with foundations, interest groups or major donors) Proven success in fundraising.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Experience in the development of funding applications, concept papers and reports.
  • Ability to present complex topics in an understandable and convincing way.
  • Independent and structured way of working with a strategic view for long-term developments.
  • Enjoy working in a team and with various stakeholders as well as the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Ideally familiar with common fundraising tools & CRM (Fundraising Box).
  • You are also welcome as a career changer with relevant experience and the right skills!
  • Ideally knowledge of humanitarian aid or related areas.
