Catherine joined Qonto in March 2024, bringing over 12 years of experience in the banking sector, with a strong focus on retail and corporate banking and payment services. Throughout her career, she has held diverse roles in sales, internal audit, and risk management. At Qonto, she was recruited to establish the company’s internal audit function, laying a solid foundation to support Qonto’s safe and sustainable growth.

Our beliefs: As an Internal Audit Manager you will become one of the first member of our newly established Internal Audit team and play a pivotal role in shaping Qonto’s audit processes, ensuring robust oversight of our operations both locally in France and across centralized processes. As an Internal Audit Manager (French market and central processes) at Qonto, you will:Lead audit missions : Lead audit assignment on centralized processes and on the French scope, Qonto’s first and biggest market. You will alternatively collaborate with our central provider or other team members to deliver your conclusions; • Follow-Up on recommendations : Ensure timely implementation and monitoring of audit and supervisors recommendations; • Conduct annual risk assessment : Assist the Head of Internal Audit in conducting the annual risk assessment. What you can expectGroundbreaking Role : Be one of the first to join a team launched just a few months ago, setting the audit methodology from the ground up; • Impactful Position : Play a key role in supporting the sustainable growth of Qonto’s activity; • Autonomy and Collaboration : Work independently while collaborating with external experts, all team members, and several department of Qonto; • Comprehensive Insight : Gain an extensive understanding of Qonto’s activities & strategy. As an experienced manager, she will support you with care and guidance to succeed in your role and advance within Qonto.

Expertise in Internal Audit : Demonstrated expertise in internal audit practices. (CIA certificate would be a plus); • Banking or Payment Institution Experience : Proven experience in the banking sector or with payment institutions; • Language Skills : Fluent in French and English; • Autonomous and Proactive : Capable of working independently and taking initiative in conducting audit missions, and leading local provider; • Clear Communicator: You excel at conveying audit findings clearly and effectively, whether in writing or verbally, to audiences ranging from operational staff to executive management; • Critically Independent: You have a strong critical thinking ability that allows you to identify inefficiencies and discrepancies independently. You confidently maintain your positions and can persuade others of your insights and recommendations; • Discreet and Trustworthy: You handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, ensuring confidentiality and maintaining trust within the organization.
