International Product Manager FMC (m/f/d)

  • Strategically develop ranges like drills, bits, rivets, nails, electrical installation, furniture fittings or DIN and standard parts in the construction / mobility / industry segment
  • Develop and execute assortment and category strategies both tailored to your specific category and aligned with corporate objectives
  • Enhance product offerings and foster innovation in collaboration with Sourcing, while determining effective go-to-market strategies together with Strategic Marketing, Pricing and Sales teams
  • Implement product roadmaps based on approved business cases (with support from respective functions and regional marketing) while also defining product roadmaps and development requirements (including product lifecycle management) in coordination with the relevant functions
  • Manage direct sales and margin performance within the category, ensuring efficient assortment management, fostering business growth with Sales teams and overseeing product lifecycle management
  • Drive the commercial success of your product category by monitoring defined KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Manage projects for adherence to timelines, budgets and specifications
  • Standardize and harmonize assortments globally in accordance with predefined category objectives
  • Lead innovation management efforts, ensuring regular updates to your assortment based on customer expectations and strategic directives
  • Manage the product portfolio, ensuring compliance with evolving market conditions, including legal and environmental regulations, while also overseeing cross-functional projects within your area of product responsibility

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing; alternatively: technical education with practical experience in product or category management of international assortments
  • Previous work experience in a global setting
  • Proficiency in SAP BW and MS Office, PIM (Product Information Management) knowledge
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive mindset, driven by results

  • Ability to manage tasks effectively, even in high-pressure situations
  • Experience in leading projects
