Our Head Office is based in Hertford, England and we have offices in USA, Australia and China and our business is growing rapidly. We are looking for an International Sales Manager who resides in Scandinavia and is able to travel as required throughout the region. This is a challenging and rewarding role, in which the role responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Achieving sales and revenue targets and growth in line with company expectations and budgets across Scandinavia
  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy/ plan for each key account to grow accounts organically and increase sales revenue
  • Increasing market share
  • Developing new accounts
  • Analysing each account with regular store visits and range reviews to recommend and support clear strategy for growth
  • Introducing Range and Promotional merchandise to each account where appropriate
  • Nurturing relationships with the buying and merchandising teams
  • Managing the customer selection critical path and end to end product delivery schedules
  • Communicating with all departments within the customer base to ensure a smooth supply chain
  • Producing regular forecasts and measure actual against forecast
  • Driving KPIs and performance improvement
  • Undertaking continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Supporting supply chain and advise on most effective route to market.

The right candidate we are looking for will have the following:

  • Proven track record in dealing with major national accounts in Scandinavia and delivering an effective sales strategy, ideally from a non-food environment, although Grocery channel experience welcomed
  • Experience in account development and management with well-known high street retailers
  • Experience selling FOB China and ex UK warehouse and recommending optimal route to market
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and results orientated
  • Resilient and willing to persevere in challenging environments to secure business to meet the company’s growth ambitions
  • Strong networker

  • Attention to detail and hands on attitude
  • Well organised and strong administrator
  • Able to manage workload to meet challenging deadlines whilst maintaining quality standards
  • Strong and confident communicator – able to develop business rapport with key decision makers

  • Ability to travel to throughout Scandinavia as required, as well as travelling to the UK for regular team meetings.
