- We are looking for a dedicated student to join our Manufacturing Markets R&D team within Linde Technology in Unterschleißheim (close to Munich) for a mandatory internship

- The R&D team’s goal is to develop innovative industrial gas technologies for users working in manufacturing industries
- In this role, you will support the team in industrial projects in the fields of Arc & Plasma Technologies, Additive Manufacturing, Heat Treatment and Thermal Processing
- You will work with state-of-the-art industrial machines and adjust testing setups
- You will use materials characterization equipment and advanced analysis tools
- You will familiarize yourself with the wide range of industrial gases that are necessary for manufacturing technologies
- Your results will form the basis for reports and documentation that pave the way for our groundbreaking developments in the manufacturing industry
- You are a student in the field of materials science, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or similar
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to work independently, responsibly, and in a structured manner
- Experience in material characterization (metallography, powder characterization, microscopy, mechanical properties) is a great advantage
- Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, specifically in welding or additive manufacturing, is highly advantageous
- Excellent fluency in English is required and German language skills are beneficial
