Our team, being adidas’ global outbound center of excellence for our partnering functions & markets, provides strategic insight, meaningful capabilities and support in executions, bringing innovation while identifying efficiency and process excellence opportunities, optimize costs, improve service levels, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in supply chain operations within the context of our direct-to-consumer sales channel. This role will provide hands-on exposure to various aspects of supply chain management, specifically in global outbound.
- Support the implementation of initiatives to enhance outbound transportation capabilities
- Assist the Global Outbound Mapping in the respective Regions and the Maturity Matrix as respective result
- Contribute to Carrier Integration process for Retail, Wholesale and Ecom
- Support in establishing and updating Global Outbound documentations
- Collaborate with partnering functions (Global and Regions)
- Support in analysing transportation data and identifying key trends and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Assist in tracking transportation KPIs and performance metrics, and contribute to regular reporting
A MATCH
- Student with a focus on Business, Information Systems, SCM, Operations, Logistics or similar
- Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
- Knowledge and awareness of: Product Supply, Global Logistics, Supply Chain Development
- Structured, organized and process orientated, with an analytical mindset
- High resilience and solution-oriented attitude
- Team player who enjoys working in an international environment
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
- Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations)
- Candidates in penultimate year of study preferred (following the internship, students should have maximum one year to graduate)
- Availability for the full duration of the internship from March 2025 – September 2025
- Ability to relocate to Herzogenaurach in Germany for the full duration of the internship
