Job Title: IT Support Engineer (m/w/d)
Location: Leverkusen, Germany
- Act as a single point of contact for IT-related issues and requests.
- Provide support for LIS (Laboratory Information System).
- Cover first line IT support services including incident and request management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common technical problems.
- Escalate complex issues to the IT Operations Team and related platforms.
- Maintain accurate records of all incidents and requests using the IT service management system.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Provide user training and support to ensure efficient use of IT systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Monitor IT systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in IT projects as required.
- Local engagement on IT relevant requests
- Experience in a similar IT support role.
- Certifications in ITIL.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with supporting a Laboratory or healthcare environment would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in German and English; French is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Experience with IT support and incident management.
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Familiarity with common IT systems and software (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office, networking fundamentals).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Travel to Antech sites for onsite support activities
