BBIS has an opening for an IT System Administrator – Data Platforms (f/m/d)

  • Provide initial support for IT-related issues, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting basic problems
  • Assist in managing and resolving issues related to school platforms, including iSAMS, ManageBack, OpenApply, and SchoolsBuddy
  • Collaborate with technical teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues
  • Perform data entry tasks related to the maintenance and management of school platforms
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the systems
  • Create and manage tickets for printer issues and other technical problems reported by users
  • Assist in managing exam preparations, including the development of plans for the usage of devices during exams
  • Develop and implement automation tasks for user provisioning and integration of various platforms
  • Planning and implementing new requirements within IT-projects
  • Utilize programming skills in Python, PowerShell, API, and XML to enhance system efficiency

  • Demonstrated ability in providing technical support and troubleshooting IT issues for platforms like iSAMS, ManageBack, OpenApply, and SchoolsBuddy
  • Strong attention to detail in data entry and management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information across school platforms
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, ticket management, and resolving basic to complex technical problems related to hardware and software (e.g., printers)
  • Experience in automating processes using Python, PowerShell, API, and XML to optimize data platforms and user provisioning
  • Competent in planning and implementing IT projects and new requirements, including exam preparations and managing the use of devices during exams
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to escalate issues and solve problems, ensuring efficient system performance
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to communicate technical details to non-technical users, and escalate complex issues effectively
  • Basic or conversational German is a plus, but not required for the role

Full-Time: 40 working hours
Start date: 1st. November 2024
Limited initially until 31st October 2026
