Tasks

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Alacris IT and computing network, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Alacris’ IT systems, network, and related infrastructure.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for internal IT systems.
  • Ensure optimal performance and security of the network.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in system and network administration with a strong foundation in Windows, Linux/Ubuntu, and CentOS operating systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux file systems, ESXi, Apache, MySQL, TeamViewer, and associated server services (NFS, SSH, DNS, TCP/IP, BIND, LDAP, SAMBA, SSL).
  • Familiarity with virtualization, security protocols, and data management systems.

  • Self-motivated with a collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Familiarity of cloud (AWS) administration
