Our Strategic Projects Department plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of ENERCON by driving cross-functional initiatives, standardizing methodologies, and ensuring excellence in project delivery. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic (Junior) Strategic Project Consultant to join our department. You will get actively involved in ENERCON’s strategic projects, govern project performance and help professionalize project management practices across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for career starters with first project management experience to contribute to the renewable energy sector.
- Support project leads in planning and executing strategic projects
- Challenge project approaches, identify risks, and provide constructive feedback to enhance outcomes
- Ensure alignment between project outcomes and organizational goals
- Implement tools to track project performance and savings in collaboration with controlling
- Create presentations and reports to communicate findings at CxO level
- Standardize project methodologies and build a comprehensive project library
- Moderate working sessions and meetings
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in project management, ideally with a consulting background
- Strong know-how in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., think-cell, Power BI)
- Fluent in English and German (at least B2)
- Analytical knowledge and experience with project management tools
- Excellent communication skills and proactive, independent work approach
Preferred:
- Affinity for the wind industry or the renewable energy sector
- Experience in change management and tender management
- Option to work more than 95% remotely (home office)
