Position title: Key Account Manager – eCommerce
Location: remote / home office, Germany
Reports to: Sr. Sales Manager
Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Key Account Manager eCommerce, you will manage our fastest-growing eCommerce accounts in Germany. Your goal is to boost market share, sales, and profit across all Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) categories. You will have the opportunity to unlock additional brand and selection opportunities, alongside creating marketing packages that increase RCP´s visibility in the eCommerce landscape.
You will be part of a dynamic sales team of 8 people and work with multiple stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Customer Service and Supply Chain.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and support ecommerce distributor KPIs to foster growth partnerships with customers, using EPOS data.
- Develop and maintain long-term JBPs to ensure sustainable growth, collaborating with Brand Building & Commercialisation teams.
- Manage budgets and achieve yearly, quarterly, and monthly financial targets, utilising budget management tools.
- Monitor and track sales using EPOS data, ensuring optimal SKU listings for distributors that align with RCP’s strengths.
- Launch new products on time and create promotional and market plans, enhancing online customer experiences on distributor websites.
- Share brand knowledge with distributors to pitch and launch new products and marketing opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements and marketing placements.
- Analyse business performance and suggest improvements to target specific end-users or mitigate risks, using data for informed decision-making.
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
- Demonstrated experience of direct and hands-on sales or category management experience in eCommerce in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), B2B, FMCG or consumer durables industry
- Knowledge of eCommerce product flow and web store performance optimisation
- Experience analysing EPOS, and market data and assisting with budgeting, cost estimating, managing, and optimizing online marketing tactics with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate ROI
- Fluent in English and German, both verbal and writte
- Good command of MS Office applications, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
